The ‘Analysing Safety and Place in Immigrant and Refugee Experience’ (ASPIRE) project is a participatory research project working with communities in eight metropolitan and regional locations in Victoria (5) and Tasmania (3). The project will gather evidence about immigrant and refugee women’s concerns and experiences of family violence.
The ASPIRE Project is a partnership between the University of Melbourne, Multicultural Centre for Women’s Health and the University of Tasmania.
The ASPIRE Research Team gratefully acknowledges the financial and other support it has received from Australia’s National Research Organisation for Women’s Safety (ANROWS) towards this research and, through it, the Australian Government and Australian state and territory governments.
